Hypnobirthing
Just as woman's heart knows how and when to pump, her lungs to inhale, and her hand to pull back from fire, so she knows how and when to give birth.
- Virginia DiOrio
What is Hypnobirthing
Hypnobirthing is the use of hypnosis to help control breathing during labor and birth. Hypnobirthing teaches a variety of self-hypnosis and relaxation techniques to help relax the body before and during labor.

Hypnobirthing is a form of clinical hypnosis - also called hypnotherapy - that can be used during labor and delivery to relieve anxiety, fear and pain. Through Hypnobirthing you will learn that when you are relaxed and confident, pain does not have to be a part of your birth and labor journey.
